2:00 PM -5PM - A Proposed California Public Policy Forum for 2004 - discussion, planning, reactions. Several colleagues from occupational health, labor, public health and business have been invited to this afternoon session.

C. A proposed survey of California Stakeholders - Deborah Gordon and Kanan Patel-Coleman
D. A proposed agenda - Julia Faucett
E. Input from participants and invited stakeholders
F. Discussion of planning strategies for the statewide policy forum - Is work stress or job strain included on the current agenda(s) of your constituency/organization? If so, how? If not, do you think your members would be interested in discussing it as a topic affecting the health of the California workforce and economy?

• What might be a possible structure for a statewide forum to discuss work stress in California?
• What stakeholder groups and/or individuals should be invited to participate? To participate on a planning committee?
• What factors in California should we consider that may energize a statewide forum? That may derail such an event?
• Identification of planning committee membership and meeting times.
